Elco Electric Launch, Incorporated is the recognized premier manufacturer of fine quality electric launches and electric drive systems. Our launches are made with the finest materials and engineered to exacting standards. Elco's high-efficiency electric drive systems are compact and can be installed into new or existing boats from small daysailers to 36-foot excursion boats.

Elco is a private corporation located on the banks of the Hudson River in Athens, New York - NNW of the Hudson-Athens Lighthouse and 40 miles south of the Albany, New York airport (ALB).

Facility

Elco moved into the Athens facility in August 2002.  The facility includes 68,000 square feet of  production, storage and office space situated on a 3.5 acre parcel adjacent to the Hudson River.

Directions from the NY Thruway - North

I-87 NY Thruway South (Toll Road).
Exit 21B turn off onto ramp for 0.4 miles to traffic light.
At light, turn left (South) onto Route 9W.
Go 7.4 miles South on Route 9W to the fourth traffic light.
At traffic light, turn left (East) onto Schoharie Turnpike (CR-28) for 2.8 miles.
Bear left (South-East) onto 2nd. St. for 0.4 miles.
Turn right (South) onto South Washington Street for 0.5 miles.
Elco is on your left. Visitor parking is on the South side of the building.

Directions from the NY Thruway - South

I-87 NY Thruway N. (Toll Road)
Exit 21 turn off onto ramp for 0.4 miles
Follow the signs to the Rip Van Winkle Bridge.
Turn left at the light just before the bridge on to Rt. 385
You are now on S. Washington St. - Go 4 miles.
Elco is the first building on the right.
Visitor parking is on the South side of the building.
